Welcome to Heather England Counseling and Psychological Testing

Welcome!  I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Masters Level Psychologist in Overland Park, Kansas.  I offer counseling for teens, adults and couples and psychological testing such as IQ testing for people of all ages. I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe, cared for and valued, can heal from pain and can learn to create the meaningful life you desire.  I believe that everyone has value just because they breathe.

My background is diverse and provides a richness to my therapy that enables me to better connect with you.  I have been an Army officer, photographer, small business owner and corporate senior manager before having the luxury to return to graduate school to pursue my passion:  psychology.

I am a private practice clinician conveniently located near College and Antioch Blvd, with easy access to I-435 and 69 Highway in Southern Overland Park.  My office is in a group practice I co-founded with another clinician called Sana Holistic Care. Sana means “healing” in Latin, and I believe healing is holistic, involving your mind, body and spirit.

I invite you to explore my website and decide whether or not we would be a good fit.  (And yes, the picture above, including the cow painting, is my office ~ with a little added photoshop magic!)

Last weekend, I attended a black tie event with my husband to celebrate someone’s 50th wedding anniversary.  I knew it would be a special event and that many of the people there would make a list of the “Who’s Who in the Rich and Famous.”  I stared at my closet and...
